"For love I would suffer kisses from another if that was what turned you on ... "

Prince has been involved with many women musically or on a business level, whatever he's done with them personally we'll never know. That's his businss anyway. But why did Jill Jones get so much love from Prince? She was in two Prince films a few old school videos, and recorded as a Paisley Park artist. Why did she stand out from the rest? Is it because she was singing with Teena marie and Prince just recognized good talent? Regardless I love me some Jill Jones! She 's a chameleon in my eyes. She's great at changing her appearance for I did not recognize her at all at the Famm Jamm and she looks different in GB, PR, and the 1999 videos. Now she appears taller and skinnier and I m=know I ain't seein shit cuz i still got 20/20 vision. mr.green

anybody else dig JJ?

Her 1987 album is by far the best Non-Prince Paisley Park album IMO. I love it to death, she has a great voice, It's a pity she didn't make it big, she certainly had what it took.

That song always seemed strange to me. Basically, they're singing about finding fulfillment in letting the other be with someone else, not to mention the *gasp* other stuff...

Bizarre to me.

Oh yeah, I dig Jilly J. I feel the same about her first album being the best of that crop of artists.

4 Love, I dig that cut as I do really that album as a whole. I really can't think of another non Prince album on that label whos record I could let play cut after cut...

That being her first effort speaks loud. She had a voice and wasn't just a run of the mill Prince woman who was all body with no bite!
