* - I had to cut America in half due to time restrictions. I think i picked a good spot right after the guitar solo to fade it out.I only just managed to fit it all to an 80min CD-R.

I think it kicks ass! This is going to be my CD to to for awhile! I'm going to do a Parade one next, or maybe Purple Rain. :Grin:

Just a pity Prince and WB can't get their heads together and do something similar themselves!

It sounds awesome! And you're right about how sad it is that people can't get their shit together. Look at how awesome Madonna's section is in the CD singles, yet Prince's is a mere shadow of what it was. I'd buy the B-sides extended 12" singles on CD through NPGMC in a heartbeat!

The Paisley Park and Raspberry Beret extended versions
are a trip and a half.

I love those songs. Much much better than just the
regular short versions.

I also mouthwateringly adore those other songs that
weren't on the album. Super top notch stuff there.

Like you, I've made many alternate incarnations of
this album and it works very well. Nice tracklist.

Usually, I also include the original version of
"4 The Tears In Your Eyes" which works wonders
right after "Condition of The Heart".

Any cd with the extended mix of Girl on it is okay with me

I would add the extended version...waaay better

Cool but it is a sacrelige to edit America. You must have the full 20 minutes or so. It is too sick. Only Prince could have pulled this off.
