Isn't everything from the Camille album officially released on various albums and b-sides?

Which is only available officially as a band rehearsal version - NPGMC download.

Rebirth of the Flesh seems to have been sold for scraps and ideas from the song show up in bits and pieces throughout Lovesexy...the rest of the album though, ya can piece together from officially released stuff easily enough.

It occurs to me,that Camille could'a been a smash.Look at how every other week someone "discovers" this orgasm of pop/funk and how they are mesmerized about it.Or is it just that it's so freakin' cool to discover some old Prince funk? And it truly is such an enjoyable listen.

The Camille Album
Fall 1986

---
Now that the Black album has been officially released, Camille is arguably the best-known unreleased Prince album. True, seven out of its eight tracks have seen official release, but unless you're hip to Camille's original track listing, you may never fully appreciate the wonderful, coherent album that's scattered throughout your collection.
The Camille tracks were recorded after the Dream Factory sessions had been abandoned and the Crystal Ball project had begun. Six new tracks were produced, 1983's Feel U Up was rerecorded, and Strange Relationship was rebuilt from what sound like basic tracks from the 1985 recording.

The plan for Camille's release was similar to the one for the Black Album: take a bunch of funky tracks, release them without identifying them as "Prince" songs, and see what the public makes of it. The album contained a number of tunes that have gone on to be fan's favorites, all distinguished by the speeded-up voice Prince started experimenting with on Love or Money. The album was credited to "Camille," 100 test pressings were created, and it was given a catalog number and release date (January 1987).

The plan for the cover art is unknown; the album was presumably titled simply Camille. The album was withdrawn from Warner's release schedule, and Prince quickly began incorporating pieces of it into his Crystal Ball project. Camille tracks continued to be called into service on miscellaneous releases through 1989. Rockhard in a Funky Place finally became available with the belated release of the Black Album. The only track that remains unreleased is Rebirth of the Flesh- its hook was used in Diamonds and Pearls' Walk Don't Walk, so it's unlikely that it will ever come out.

The Camille tracks
Rebirth of the Flesh a.k.a. Sooly-a-colia a.k.a. New Funky Cool
Housequake
Strange Relationship
Feel U Up
Shockadelica
Good Love
If I was Your Girlfriend
Rockhard In A Funky Place

Basically correct, but some wrong titles

Side One:

Rebirth Of The Flesh
Housequake
Strange Relationship
Feel U Up

Side Two

Shockadelica
Good Love
If I was Your Girlfriend
Rockhard In A Funky Place

Versions of all of these songs have now been released.

Can't remember the source for this:

here is the true camile list:

A
1. Rebirth of the flesh (the chorus was reused on "Walk Don't Walk")
2. Housequake (a different longer not as in your face mix)
3. Strange Relationship
4. Feel U Up (the full stroke version)
B
5. Shockadelica (the version that became the 12" B side)
6. Good Love
7. If I Was Your Girlfriend
8. Rock Hard In A Funky Place

okay, might as well sort this out with you as well, already done it with everyone else i have had issues with. i am not interested in carrying this pedantic fight on, i have bigger fish to fry, and in the future, my presence in this place needs to be drama and fued free.

i am sorry for whatever i said that began this, to be honest, it has been so long, i don't even recall or particularly care.

perhaps we can learn to be friends. if not, then we must learn to not stoop to these low levels.

truce?

Okay - I see this everywhere - but maybe I'm too dumb to notice.

WHAT part of Rebirth of the Flesh is in Walk Don't Walk - I see zero lyrics at all! Is it the "Sha la la la la" part? That's pretty lame.
