Soundbyte between Lady Cab Driver and All the Critics Love U in New York...

I think I know where the street sounds and the honking come from between these songs on the 1999 album. Check "The Sting" you'll hear where the soundbyte of the traffic, the triple honking, people talking, and double honking came from.
I'm almost certain that this is where it came from. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, the one with Robert Redford and Paul Newman, not the crappy sequel. In a particular scene where some people are outside crossing the street, you distinctly hear that soundbyte that is heard just before ATCLUINY fades in. You know, where you hear some horns honking, a person calls for a taxi, and some more horn.

As far as I understand it, the sound effects heard on the 1999 album from the baby drying at the end of Delirious to the Grandfather clock and traffic noise are from Sound Effects albums at Sunset Sound.

You know, that very well could be...Yet, that soundbyte could have easily been used first in The Sting. Listen for it, it's quite obvious in the movie. Just an interesting little tid bit, that's all.
