A short, but sweet interview.

Richard Wilkins was very reverent of Prince and seemed like he was quite a fan. Prince was very quiet during the interview. The rest of the band were present and Maceo kept calling Prince a genius, which was cool.

After the interview, Tracy Grimshaw said Prince seemed "too cool for school". Yeah, but then, he's Prince, ya know?

Unfortunately, contrary to what I posted in this message earlier, the Prince interview will apparently not be making an appearance on the net.

Prince was QUIET... and I don't blame him if you have to talk to Richard Wilkins. Good thing really that Maceo was there to make some interjections.

Nah seriously, poor Richard! He was really NICE and respectful... Can't be easy to interview the likes of Prince... like blood out of a stone.

But the questions were pretty rubbish, so I wouldn't answer them either!

Although they might have been the only ones that Prince would allow Richard to ask him.

I actually thought it was an interesting cool little interview

He was going to ask about pre-Controversy time and Prince said it was better to stay in the present. I thought it was cool when P said he thought of himself as music and that makes it really hard to sleep at night. They showed a few shots from the soundcheck which Wilkins said went for 2 hours (if only...)

Yeah, I liked the bit where Richard asked him about the fact that he doesn't do many interviews and Prince said "well, I'm a musician and I think it's all about the music".

Can't get over the fact from watching this interview that it could have come from 2003 or 1987. He has the whole "Sign Of The Times" look going, it's amazing
