Ain't Nothin' But a Muffin... Does anyone out there know what the phrase "Ain't nothin' but a muffin, we got a lot of butter to go!" means? Prince uses it twice (in "Its Gonna be a beautiful night and Partyman). Any hints would be appreciated. |

If it means anything surely it is that Prince is just gonna keep on greasin' it, ain't no big deal.
The groove that they are squatting on in IGTBABN is so tight and funky but, to Prince, its no big deal - there is plenty more sauce where that came from! ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

Of course, there is sexual connatation (as is usual for Prince) and is especially highlights by Doozer's mention of it's hybrid in "Come On". ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
