Did Anyone See This Episode of Family Matters?

Where Eddie begs Steve Urkel to tutor him so he could go to the Prince concert? I saw this episode once before, and it was on again today. It was kind of funny when Eddie shows Urkel his Prince concert tickets and Urkel says, "Whoah, you could get sweated on!" lol Urkel wants Eddie to pay him for tutoring, but Eddie refuses, so Urkel takes the Prince concert tickets as "collateral". lol I'm still watching it, to see how it turns out, since I haven't seen this episode in a while.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

OMG, I actually remember this! I don't have cable, so I haven't seen the rerun or anything, but I remember this episode when it came out. I think my jaw dropped. At that time, it wasn't the coolest thing in the world to be a Prince fan anymore, so it was very exciting.

I remember this!!!

I get a kick out of those type of shows (late 80s/early 90s) that make references to Prince
"Fresh Prince of Bel Air" used to make a lot of references about Prince. God, I love re-runs!!

they did something like that on living single, also when queen latifah was on a budget and couldn't buy reginé's ticket to the prince concert but kyle brought it and ended up going.

Mee too!! Ya know... I was Khadijah in my former life!

Actually, I remember that LS episode but I don't think it was Prince tickets... I think Kyle had Madonna tickets.

When I used to watch this show, I wasn't listening to Prince as much as I do now, but it does sound kind of familiar...cool note though! wink

My friend once told me about another sitcom where there was a Prince concert involved. I think she said it was 227, anybody remember that sitcom?

Can't remember if it was at the Hollywood or Irvine show, but I saw Urkel in 1997 a the Jam of the Year concert. Kinda funny seeing him out of character.
