Lotusflow3r "Sequence 10" Configuration

Princevault has recently posted another early configuration of Lotusflow3r.

There's also this interesting bit of commentary in the changelog.

Interesting. Might give this a try in the morning, although I'm not sure how compassion fits sonically. Maybe a different version?

has North Carolina appeared on any boots? Don't think I've heard of that track before. But then I've had this before and the track has been on a boot I have and just forgotten about. 😅

It could be his version of the track Shelby J. released -North Carolina, produced by Prince.

Very interesting. Does this mean another 9 previous configurations were considered before this?

In my opinion it looks a bit like a mixed bag, I find difficult to figure out the flow of this configuration going by the versions that were eventually released. Perhaps some were radically different versions or mixes.

Also, I find the assumed date (late '08 - early '09) very late, giving the album got eventually released in March '09.

I always like seeing these alternative tracklists.

I would love to see a Lotus sessions boxset. I think 2005-2009 gave us some really great material

Yes, it is.

Compassion and Future Soul Song are alternate versions to those on 20Ten. And apparantly superior some say

Ooooooh! Very good very good. The Lotusflower project is one of his most interesting ones to me.

I like pretty much everything considered for this album along it's long gestation.

Would be amazing to have a box with everything on it.

Turn Me Loose is so much fun smile Hopefully we'll get to hear this config one day.
