Sheila E played the halftime. I missed it but the Rockets' announcers said it was the best halftime performance the NBA had ever had.

I only caught a little of the game (See: NBA thread in GD, I promise you won't be sorry) and heard just a few snippets of bumper music. But they did play "Baby I'm a Star" and "Guitar", and plenty of others that I missed.

His later (2015) favorite player was Dwayne Wade...favorite team, The Thunder. Damaris had called into a local radio show and called Prince as well. He mentioned his favs then.

I hadn't heard that. Nice! I remember Damaris calling Prince while on a radio show in Australia but I don't think he mentioned that then.

Oh Ok. I'll go back and listen if it's still there. He sounded half asleep in that one and it seemed she had awakened him. I recall in 2012 Prince and Damaris talking about The Thunder.Yes you're right he mentioned it then as well. He sure sounded sleepy but was still very quick witted. Very funny.
