So apparently Sony is going to re release physically post 1993 album..They begin with these 3 albums, available on CD and vinyle..Best news of the year for me..If they really release the 23 albums unavailable next year, Prince will be a huge physical seller.

No booklets for the vinyl reissues as I believe Rod said there was going to be...

Enjoy them, i'll probably stick with my CD's. Hopefully some of the rarer albums being hinted at will come to fruition in a nice re-release.


Having said that if they give Emancipation a vinyl release I'll have to get it just because it'll be so ludicrous.

My local wrecka stow listed them in their weekly email which states they are "remastered"... I don't know if I believe that though as it's the first I heard of it. Anyone know for sure?

In fact, shocking news : no booklet in the CD version of Planet neither. Real thievery, since the 24 page booklet was announced every where, including on Amazon

not shocking... it would cost more to reprint all those booklets, for only a few thousand sales from hardcore fans... not worth it.

I dont want to be negative, but you kept making mistakes with your video with your basic info. If you put yourself out there. Then at least do your home work on what you are posting about. And maybe you should have listened to the records again before you gave your opinon. Again, the basics really. If im going to post a video on the internet . Im not going to just stumble through it. It would mean something to me. And I would want to get it right! Anyhow, each to their own!

You "don't want to be negative"... sure. What exactly did I stumble through? What mistakes did I make aside from the death date which I corrected?

The reason people don't put themselves out there is because there are always going to be people shitting on something you enjoyed doing. I got something cool and wanted to show it off. Always got to be someone to drag you down.

Look im not going to bang on about it. You like Prince. So thats a plus! But your video was crap. Im sorry, but it just was. You of course will disagree. Put yourself on the internet, you have to take the rough with the smooth. You might always post great stuff for all I know. This video in my opinion was lazy and uninspired. Thats all really. On to the Topic, I have listened to Planet earth now on vinyl, and it sounds pretty good to me. I think I even like it now! I am now on to 3121

It was an unboxing video. Were you expecting the definitive review of all three albums?
