I wish Prince would have played Gold more often live. And the times he did during 2010-2011 he didn’t play the guitar solo at the end. He played Endorphinmachine with 3EG I wish he would have included Dolphin too. Paisley Park is in your heart

I remember seeing him start it on one of the Ultimate Live shows at Wembley and then abandon it. Also, he replaced the live performance of it on The Undertaker with a studio performance (although there may have been other reasons for this). Subsequently, on ONA aftershows, he would play it as an instrumental, which I thought worked quite well. "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..." |

How can a gross edit of Prince gesticulating on different songs juxtaposed to NC2U to try and make it fit be a great move? And to add insult to injury, not only was the video a farce, but the audio was a posthumous remix that didn't exist in Prince's lifetime. The whole affair was an insult to Prince's memory if nothing else, and an insult to the fans as well. How low can your expectations go? How can you be happy with them taking any random footage and edit it with an unrelated song they've messed up with? Encouraging them to do things like this will only end-up in disaster. Great to see these new videos but why do they still only give us such low resolution videos? 360p? This is 2018! Yes, I know many were shot on video but they're still higher resolution than 360p! | |
