He also paid for Cat's medical bills.

He also helped Big Chick's family when he died (despite him having sold a story to a gossip mag), and Boni Boyer's family when she fell ill and passed away.

without being specific, Prince was generous on many occasions ie Marva Collins school, the YesWeCode project, "Hello" song for USA4Africa, etc. But most importantly he was generous with his gift of music. The treasure trove catalog of music he gave us is much appreciated.

He didn't 'give' us his music. We bought his music.

NOt all people bought his music. Some people just took it. He more than earned his money IMO.

Charging just £10 per ticket for his initial HitnRun shows in London in 2014 seemed very generous to me. Particularly the Shepherd's Bush date where he played for hours. It was the best gig I'd seen by Prince or any other artist and I'd seen Prince live about 20 times.

Even the smaller more marginal artists I've seen live have charged more than £10.

You didn't have to buy anything. I purchased his music out of appreciation. All the released albums, b side material, extended remixes, etc were truly generous. Prince released (unreleased) a ton of music for his fams to enjoy.

at topicstarter's nr 1: I dont recall being at any band-concert and frontman NOT doing that. It's elementary imo.
