How much Prince could you take?

If the estate do finally start releasing material from the vault how much could you handle.

Monthly, quarterly, every six months, yearly or every couple of years.

Personally i would go with quarterly. Enough time to fully digest the release.

My fear is we will get someting at most once a year.

Yearly would be the best honestly or maybe a single every six or so months

Depends on what kind of release it would be. If they put videos online like they did with Nothing Compares 2 U, then I wouldn't mind a new one every week.
If it's a box set, the once a year would be fine.

A new album every year. But other stuff like a live concert or even some rehearsal videos. Maybe they could stream some of that stuff for people willing to pay. I would be very disappointed if Black is the new Black is forgotten about by the estate. His last album. That should be released properly.

Don't know if it was finished in the sense that Prince thought it was finished. What we do know is there was 8 tracks recorded for it by febuary time.

Yearly isn't regularly enough for me, I'd like something every few months at most. They need to get things out regularly or their market will have literally died off before they even scratch the surface of the vault.

RIP sad

Bring back NPG Music Club smile I'll happily subscribe from now until the day I drop, new songs pushed out to fans at a nice regular pace. Just the raw tracks, rough mixes, whatever Prince left us to enjoy basically.

well I can handle a lot.
and when it comes to prince's music I can handle more. way more.
gimme one new song a week and I will find a way to deal with it.
gimme one concert movie a month and I wil go for it.
gimme 2 albums a year and i will manage that too.
oh and gimme some rehearsals and soundchecks in between and I'll absorb that easily.
I'm a brave girl. and I'm hungry.
I'm not 20 anymore u know ... time flies ...
and I'm more than willing to pay for it of course.

the only thing I can't take is getting nothing at all.
no actually there's a second: getting some highly remastered lyrics changed versions of something I bought already.
that would be a deal breaker.
and I wouldn't pay for that.

the only love there is is the love we make heart

Online store. At least an album's worth of material each months, NPGMC 2001 style.

Put it all out.

I'll buy it.

A monthly album would be nice.

If yearly was enough we all wouldn't be so greedy for bootlegs.

Monthly via some kind of streaming/download service for hardcores.

If it's a box set, yearly is sufficent. A single album per year is more suited to the casual, commercial market.

Whatever, there is a wealth of later work - unreleased albums, songs, alternate versions, rehearsals - that hardcore fans are the only credible audience for. How many casual fans are going to be interested in the Welcome 2 America album or even know what it is? Or the Madrid 2 Chicago album from 98. Or the reported hundreds of unreleased songs with 3RDEYEGIRL? And these are only a few examples.

Depends on how big it is. If it's a two CD set with at least 20 tracks Id say twice a yr for me. But I'm greedy like that.

There's an article on Yahoo.com about Neil Young and his archived albums all in one place for fans to listen to/stream or buy. Young's releasing an album called Trans, too, that his record label sued him to get him to not put it out.

Anyway, I digress but...The Prince Estate needs to put all of Prince's stuff on one website and let the fans have a field day, buying whatever we want, old or unreleased! Video or audio...
