I expect he would have continued on a US leg of Piano & Mic, followed by a European tour

He was writing that memoir thing

3rdEyeGirl album #2 was in the works

He was jamming with Kirky J, Marcus Anderson and Mono Neon

"Free Urself" and "If Eye Could Get Ur Attention" I always suspected would turn up on Hit N Run Phase #3

Piano & Mic live album? A couple of soundboard tracks had been released on Tidal

He was showing off his new purple and gold guitar

Lots of things were in the works, it seems sad sad

Prince's newly christened friend Jester said Prince had a LOT of things planned for 2016. All through the summer and beyond. Paisley Park was going to be a very busy place. Including performances and special guest(the Queen Bee). He WAS NOT planning on going anywhere soon.

EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS

Most people aren't planning to go where he went anytime soon. People make plans because of that, we don't spend our time looking at our mortality. Not a stretch to say most never even think about that.

I just toured Paisley Park Thursday...our guide said that there was a deal in place with blue note records for the release of 'black is the new black'. I don't know that I'd heard or known that at all before she said it.

So, there probably would have been some promotion around that...

Very interesting. I'd heard there was a deal with Blue Note, but not that it was for 'Black is the New Black'.

We know what he was working on but with Prince's history of getting bored, changing his mind and shelving projects even after announcing them, it's hard to tell what would have really been released: Black Is The New Black (by Mono Neon indeed), HnR3, the live piano album, 3EG#2,the new mpls sound project with MBN and Stringenius... that was a lot but we'd probably have only gotten one or 2 of those projects

I'd like to know if that project was completed. Has Mono Neon addressed it?

I can't help but wonder if all these projects prevented him from getting help sooner. We know most of Prince's wealth was tied up in real estate and various businesses. But how much did he have in liquid cash? It seemed like Prince used touring as a bank for quick cash to fund his projects and pay debts. How many times did we hear he didn't pay taxes or bills only to have him announce some quick shows and hear nothing about it after. Was the Piano and Microphone shows funding all these new projects and tours? If Prince was to get real help for his opioid addiction, everything would have had to come to a screeching halt. It would have taken for 4 to 6 months maybe even longer to get treated and brought back to peak shape. Could Prince at this point afford to shut everything down to get help?

Prince had over $40 MILLION CASH that was found( not including his various real estate properties) just lying around in his various companies after he transitioned.

Probably a lot of people feel this way but some get to a certain point where they start accepting that their time is limited. I think he was always operating under that assumption. Didn't he say something about wasting time sleeping? I get the sense he viewed a lot of things differently than 99% of people.

Was this cash laying around or just cash under different accounts? I was under the impression it was in various accounts for various corps.

Slowing down was not a part of Prince's vocabulary. He once said if he could not write music, he would die. I think he neglected his health. He ate healthy, sure, but that's not enough. He said he did not like doctor's. Most people don't, lol. lol

I didn't go to his last show in Atlanta because I thought I'd rather put that money toward my Montreux fund. I rationalized that because I love to watch him play guitar, and a trip to Montreux is so freaking $$, it would be a smart thing to do sad

Yeah, that was probably it. There was an episode of the HBO show Ballers where the Rock's character puts off hip surgery from a football injury because he was putting too much time in expanding his business. He goes to different doctors to get opiod pain killers. He gets help before it goes into a full blown addiction, but I can imagination that's probably close to how it went down with Prince. The sad part is he got a major wake up call with the overdose on the plane and didn't take the chance to save himself.

Yes; you're right. It happens more often than we think. I think after Prince was given the 2 Narcan shots; it sent him into a downward spiral and should have been monitored closely by a doctor. Help came too late. Tom Petty kept pushing himself, right up to the very end too, when he should have been resting and taking care of himself. Very sad.

Sheila E said he wouldn't go to the doctor. First I like to say majority of men don't go so it's not unusual. But Sheila said she got her bones cracked regularly by a chiropractor to loosen her up, so it wouldn't cause problems later . Because performing is similar to being an athlete and she was ALWAYS in pain. So she knew Prince had to be. She recommended it to Prince and REFUSED!

That does not surprise me at all. I think Prince would have benefited from physical therapy & massage, and holistic medicine. I think he tried Yoga and meditation, but he needed more than just spiritual healing.

I remember reading somewhere Prince had been in touch with a European concert promoter about doing P&M concerts in Belgium, France... some time in June 2016 because he had cancelled his P&M concerts in these countries in November/December of 2015.
