Before he was famous did prince ever do any busking? Was wondering if there was any record of prince ever doing any street busking before he was famous around minneapolis. That would have been so cool to see if he did would be like when he performed IT on the sign of the times dvd just his amazing voice and acoustic guitar. moderatornever heard of him doing anything like that. as a musician myself, it's always seemed a demeaning thing to do, i've never done it but many of my friends do. I've thought about it. i couldn't see Prince doing it. He played live with bands at parties, in yards, at ymca's or what have you but i have never heard of him busking. | |

Not before he was famous, but Prince did busk in disguise in 1998 in London during the New Power Soul tour. Footage can be seen in the 'Come On' video. | |
