DJ Foefur's pitch-corrected "Rework" is circulating now.

Haven't had the chance to compare yet.

Still haven't compared Foefur to the other, but, I did notice that Foefur's starts with Sexuality as track #2. Perhaps Doozer's copy is the Foefur Rework?

I have both the original leak and the Foefur rework…both are tagged correctly as far as the tracks go, but if I sort both sets alphabetically, each starts with "02. Sexuality".

Excellent show, though!

I've just realized that most of the tour's SBD that we have don't have TSC. Could this be because it was a tape, and the SDB recording would only feature the live show per se?

I don't know... maybe you're right. Perhaps there wasn't a direct feed of it. The intermission from Lovesexy was captured flawlessly a couple of times, as well as the DAT intros from the Nude Tour and subsequent tours. It probably has a lot to do with the technology that was available at the time. But everytime I see it listed on an upcoming boot, I get my hopes up lol.

It's simple: track 1 , The Second Coming, hasn't leaked

The alternate live version and 1St presentation of the trax of All the critics love u in NY at 1st Ave 1982 is a pure joy an orgasm....maybe the best life version ever...unknown synth and keyboards parts with a very upfront driven guitar solo ....I suspect that an alternate version of this live Trax does exist in the vault....what an Amazing version of 11 minutes..i'M speechless!

DAMN...this is the best thing I have heard in a long time. Sound quality is excellent I can only imagine these were taken directly from master copies. FLAC format also helps preserve the quality too.

"She said "are U Happy?" "

"I said "No are U?" "

Why did he replace the lyric "Gay" with happy in Uptown? I figured the term gay for homosexual was intended in the original recording back in 1980. So why change it here? Sounds so bad. But the actual live version of this song is amazing and his dark vocals, despite the word change, are brilliant and raw, sexy smooth.

Gay use to be slang for happy (or carefree)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay#Shift_to_specifically_homosexual

Honestly I thought saying happy and the way he delivered the line was interesting. Much more melancholy.

I know that it was used as a slang, but who in 1980 associated gay with the word happy back then. Especially in a song about freaks and fucking and wanting to be free.

djThundarfunk had given the track numbering as well, but thank god for princevault.com for being one of the ultimate Prince resources. Us Prince fans are actually really spoiled when I think about all the ways we have to get Prince related stuff (audio, video, info).

.

Oh pur-lease, thanks to Prince's ceaseless war on fansites we have a fraction of what we could have. Wake me when there's something like http://ninlive.com/. And that's just one of many fantastic resources the NIN community came up with.

Well, I wasn't against his "war on fansites" as I still think it was his music to do with what he pleased. Also, I'm guessing and am pretty sure that you have been collecting for as long as I have been, and I have more stuff than I'll ever get to hear or watch more than once. With all the recent leaks, whenever I check my stash, I'm amazed that I already had 90% of the leaks so far. Thus, when I think about the amount of Prince bootleg audio and video that I have collected over the years, I'm just amazed. Now, as I've always stated, I'm more into live boots than studio boots. So, I have multiple shows from each tour and most of the "one-off" shows. Additionally, when it comes to studio boots, I have tons of unreleased songs from every era, period, or album of Prince's career. And most of it is in good to great sound and video quality. As such, I'm not sure what more I could want. Could I have more? Sure. But, damn, do I need every show from the Parade Tour or every show the Purple Rain tour? How much is overkill? So, good for the NIN community. But, I stand by what I said. I have more unreleased Prince studio and live stuff than I'll ever need.

That Pittsburgh 81 show is great, the audio is very clear.

Does anybody know why Prince removed Sexuality from the set list on this tour?

I would just like to say that it was an amazing experience to hear this really great quality show in my hometown. I could imagine the container for the show as he shouts out to the balcony. I have been to this theater for other things. I never saw Prince live, I liked his music but for whatever reason missed the boat on his genius until after he passed. I saw his videos for seven and creme and I remember those making an impression on me and liked his energy and music.age wise wasn't going to concerts then.

This was truely a gift for the holiday season for me. To get to hear young master prince in his prime what is he 23-24...he speaks with such eloquence the way he says pittsburgh kinda soft but poetic. I might try to pronounce my city so nicely.

I did just call him a master he earned it.
4 weeks before he opened for the stones and got abused.
He not only went back to a second show to have it happen again, he keep going on tour.
A strong spirit indeed perseveres.

I gotta say this, if the vault recordings are damaged and can not add support for the upkeep of Paisley, then perhaps the best live show recordings could be made available. I don't feel bad getting this bootleg. I was in spirit then and could not attend. I don't plan on getting all the bootlegs that I can. I'm glad though to have this concert experience. Somehow for me listening to the show and imagining where it happened took me there and brought the energy over watching you tube.

Prince left a music space for artists, let's hope they let it function for music.
New generations will want to know what a real Prince concert experience was like.

Who associated gay with the word happy? Prince did, that night. And obviously Prince did on Chaos and Disorder ("He's gay used to mean he's happy"). And who didn't still make that association--that's the primary meaning for gay, not the slang one.

It's an interesting variation on the lyric. Maybe that night he didn't have as much faith in the idea that the forms of freedom he was singing about worked in achieving happiness (I'm not sure he ever really did, to be honest). Or maybe it just crossed his mind, so he did it, with no particular significance.

(I didn't see the mod-note suggesting a new thread before I posted this)

For me; I'm still marinating in the vibes!!!!

I had never heard the sexuality song antics of Prince, after listening to it, I needed to see it. Dude could act funny, he looks inTo the palm of the hand and stares big eyes at it like he really sees the exposure mishap.
Then he tosses his hand backin disgust. Prince you're on point and funny in your assessment that Humanity is largely conditioned by and distracted and living life through screens.

I especially like "half of the staff of their brain is on vacation"
Like he pin points where exactly, the medula oblongsta is at fault.

Had I been born 6-7 years earlier I would have gone to NPG era then.

Can ya'll tell me in context, his energy seems content and joyful. Is Denise Matthews his lady at his time?
