Another interesting item is:

.

Artwork for 1995 configuration of Madhouse 24:

https://www.rrauction.com/preview_itemdetail.cfm?IN=6153

Wow, that's a previously unknown configuration. WANT! razz

No, it was on Princevault for years. What's new is the artwork and the fact that at that point Levi wasn't "officially" a MH member, while P/Tora Tora is now on the cover. Also shows the NPG received co-writing credits on the 1993 recordings.

I've always felt that the 2 overtures didn't really fit with the rest of the 1993 material, though, so while I'd love to hear it, it's likely that I'd like the 1993 configuration better.

Both the cover for that Madhouse 24 and the CD print on the Versace CD ("Sex Clothes for the NPG") were already circulating years ago. Check the Revelation bootleg, and probably the old Testament bootleg.

'Never Be Another Fool'. Who might be on vocals? I'm guessing it wouldn't be Chaka as 'Come 2 My House' was three years later.

It would have been sensational if it had been released back then in 1995 with prince himself on vocals. The entire entertainment world would have been in shock and awe. razz

Oh, I just noticed that this collection was a gift for Gianni and Donatella Versace, so if it was not intended for public released, it might be that it is actually prince's own version of eye'll Never B Another Fool that is on it. biggrin

I think it's a cool collection of songs, although except for the title track, all of the tracks has seen the light of day whether officially or as outtakes - like the recently surfaced version of Dinner With Delores on Blast From The Past. I wonder which of the 18 & Over edits was included on this configuration? And did he intend to sell the collection through Versace outlets? smile

Hi!

What's this Dinner with Delores unreleased version, I'm out of the loop!

I had a 90s version of 24 at one point but I don't think it was this one. Would love to hear it though.
