Prince & Sheryl Crow; Everyday....

.

Prince performing with Sheryl Crow in Toronto, 1999. He stole the show, as usual. Love his guitar solo and when he put his arms around Cheryl. Loved him with the glitter in his hair--he looked so incredible!! biggrin

Sheryl-with-an-S was really at the top of her game at that point. She was churning out hit after hit. I have seen this video before, and I love it before it really shows the camaraderie between them. And the mutual respect as musicians and songwriters.

He was rubbing elbows will really good artists back then. Gwen, Sheryl, Lenny, Ani, Chuck D., Chaka, Sandra St. Victor, etc. And dude from GCS. Forget his name.

In general, he was very engaging during that time, from about 96-2001, despite suffering the loss of two babies, and losing his marriage.

Sorry about the typo! Thanks for spotting that. I knew something seemed not right, LOL lol

.

I was never a huge Sheryl Crow fan, but I did buy that album; it was very good.

Yes, he was collaborating with a lot of artist's during that time. He seemed to be having a re-birth, if you will after the loss of his son and divorce from Mayte. I love the Rave album; one of my favs!! Although the critics didn't really love it, and I can't understand why -- so many good tracks on that album and he sounded incredible! Also, he made that album with Arista & NPG, I believe -- he seemed to be blossoming after he cut ties with WB, imo.
