ELLEN...are you listening? (Guitar)

We need a new breed. Leaders...stand up...organize!

That's hilarious. I wonder what Ellen thought!

It's a toss up. He's a nice guy, and got along with Ellen full well in his JW time and knowing who she was as a person in her personal life. I'm taking it as Prince being cheeky.

PS The Kiss & Bambi rehearsals are both floating around again in a zip file.

It had to have been planned. I know Prince liked to improvize. But for a live TV performance, he probably rehearsed everything. And Bambi was a full band song (not just Prince jamming on the guitar). Plus, keep in mind that in the interview during that episode, she called him sexy. What if he was just kind of joking...like saying, "I told you I could make you hot for me even if you are lesbian--because I am that good.". Hell, even Wendy M. jokingly admitted that she thought Prince was attractive. It might have been just a joke that went too far and they had to pull it.

Another thing to keep in mind...PRince appeared on her show in 2009 as well and they seemed cool with one another. He also sat with her and her girlfriend at the Grammy's in 2004.

She did request it. We talked about this back when it happened. Nice to finally see the footage.

I had really wanted to see this since I heard that Ellen asked him to perform it.
Not feeling the horns and his guitar is too low even after he asks for the guitar to be turned up. Nice to finally see it so thanks for the link.
