Are there any rumours/info about unreleased albums from 2011-2013? There's nothing on the vault about unreleased projects from that period.

isn't early 2011-2012 the period of the 'welcome 2 america' album?

I've talked to people that worked or had friends that had short stints at Paisley Park in the studio, and they say there are albums compiled from marathon week long work sessions from all eras, and these are albums and tracks that have not been mentioned or are known to anyone outside of the studio. It seems he was always recording and compiling tracklists and then shelving stuff. Beyond what we know on bootleg.

There is some more stuff he did with 3RD Eye Girl, and of course the work with Andy Allo which did come out kind of yes and no. But Hannah of 3rd Eye Girl when she did a recent FB Live Chat someone asked about more material if there was more with PRINCE and she said they recorded a lot of stuff, new and covers and it would come out if its allowed to but she had no information on the possibility of it.

Is Googling that hard? https://en.wikipedia.org/...e_projects

Who's to say the poster didn't want to start a discussion with the question, especially since Wikipedia is fallable? You know, the ostensible point of a forum?

As if this topic hasn't been "debated" ad nauseam. And now there's another thread to add to the heap. Betcha nobody even bothers to update the wiki page.

I think that maybe the question of unreleased material is more relevant now than when it was asked in the past.

It is very true that we could check Wikipedia, google or ask our next door neighbors for answers to Prince questions that we might have.

I might be wrong, but I figured we'd get fuller answers here, by asking other Prince fans. I'm so sorry that it annoys or bores older fans, but I've read so many lies and rumours about Prince in newspapers or online that this place here seems like it's the best place to ask.
And with newer and younger fans appreciating his music it's inevitable that some questions will get repeated.
For those that find it annoying, there's always other things you could be doing rather than posting your dissatisfaction, like listening to Lemon Crush on repeat for instance wink
Grits and gravy, cheese eggs and jam...
Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine and a side order of ham.

Or you could start doing some research yourself first, compile a list, and post it for public scrutiny and update it based on the comments and thus actually contribute, instead of starting yet another thread that basically seems to be more about wanting to be spoonfed information.

.

Lemme guess: you didn't even bother searching this site. Why not? Lemme guess: because searching through 15+ years of forum posts is annoying as fuck and most likely google hasn't even indexed all of it. So why then start a new thread?

.

It is this endless repetition of what is well-known that drives away experts.

.

It's a damn shame the Org's wiki never took off, because that would be an ideal place to store such information. And right now it doesn't even work anymore...

.

Forums are a horrible way to store this kind of data.

.

I see that http://prince.wikia.com/ exists. Perhaps use that to store this kind of information?

So no, I didn't research it. I just tried to answer someone else's enquiry.

I totally agree about the Wiki!

.

History 'rarely' changes so it is a little annoying 'static' information isn't recorded and then reference, yet I appreciate PrinceVault, Sleevographia and DataBank's website are an incredible step in that direction.

.

But I'd like to see something database driven with hi res assets.

.

Positive. Sadly the PPML isn't available any longer, but it was thoroughly debunked.

I love how Bart is a total dick about everything and everyone just knows and completely ignores him. Too funny. What a bummer to be that unhappy. Back to lurking mode.
