Because it's not much of a song really. It's one of those throwaway "quirky things" Prince stuffs into his records with annoying regularity that don't do much at all to help the album.

BTW: "Gold" is a great closer.

Anyone who would be tempted to put ATWIAD in the worst list,
will be castrated like God castrates Prince in the coda of "Temptation".

But it's a great way to close an album he only made because he owed it to WB. It's like saying, I've had it with U. And as such, it's a great album closer.
