There is a ltwbd prince version with prince playing the lead guitar
I use to have it an excellent version.

There is a ltwbd prince version with prince playing the lead guitar
I use to have it an excellent version.



I meant to say is there a Prince version with Prince playing lead guitar and on lead vocals

Yes there is prince a prince version with prince on lead guitar and prince singing. It was during symbol guitar period I use to have it the song but can't find it anymore on my files. I am after that song

I particularly love the solo's in I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man and Crimson and Clover. Upfront, blistering solos were his thing live, not to so much in the studio.
I got two sides... and they're both friends.

Agreed. Whenever people questioned my 'obsession' with Prince, I would tell them to come with me to see him live. Crimson and Clover is a great example of a song which was taken to another level when he played it live with a stunning solo incorporated. I always felt a little disappointed with the studio version.
