Steve must be a wonderful man with a great personality. A lovely lovely man actually.

He's like the good nephew that you lovingly ruffle his hair and say.."you do your thing Steve and don't listen to what other people say!"

You can see the names of a handful of the tracks on the CD Prince's hand is holding. Underneath the Cream When I Lay My Hands on U Supercute When Will We B Paid U Make My Sun Shine Golden Parachute ("hute" can be seen under his thumb) Gamilla ("Ga" can be seen between his pinky and ring finger) The Daisy Chain (between the middle and ring finger, upside down, guessing as it's a lowercase "the" and then a word ending with y and a word starting with C) Impossible to know the track order but it's cool to see those songs all but confirmed. One would guess "High" would be included as well. See the large image of Prince's hand on the CD: https://m.facebook.com/St...;source=48

.

Very good point!

.

If the tracks spiralled inwards, then the likely track listing would be:

.

When I Lay My Hands On U

Supercute

Underneath The Cream

Golden Parachute

When Will We B Paid

The Daisy Chain

Gamilla

High

U Make My Sun Shine

.

It's interesting to see only nine tracks. I can't see room for a tenth.

.

This is the track listing on PrinceVault:

.

Supercute

Underneath The Cream

Golden Parachute

When Will We B Paid

The Daisy Chain

Gamillah

High

My Medallion

U Make My Sun Shine

When Eye Lay My Hands On U

.

It's interesting to see My Medallion can't be placed.

.

Maybe Steve Parke would be happy to solve the mystery but I don't use FB.

.

lol

For many years Pvault listed the songs list but was unable to say what was the tracks' order. Then all of a sudden, not that long ago (maybe one or 2 years?) the ordered tracklist was added. It's unfortunate that they do not always indicate their sources when they add new informations, cuz we do not know where that tracklist came from. There is no reason to doubt its authenticity though. I am not necerssarily convinced that the tracklists on the CD design is in any specific order given that the songs aren't numbered. And I believe there is room for MM under the hand. However it's totally possible that Prince changed the tracklist on Princevault to another at the last moment and that Pvault's source was unaware of the change. I hope Steve Parke can give us more info smile

I've talked to Steve on the phone, at length about Prince & other stuff, and he's an incredibly funny and verbose guy. He loooves to chat. He's just a talker, like some of us. He's gregarious, witty, honest, and very down to earth. People rail on him all the time for his work with Prince, but you know what - Prince hired him, not the complainer. So - there's that.

He certainly sound like a super cool person from everything I've read by or about him, IDK what people's problem is. Hopefully he can shed light on the tracklist for this config of High.

I met him at a fan gathering in KY last July. He seems like a great guy and had some interesting insight from his long working relationship with Prince. I'm looking forward to his forthcoming book which will be filled with unpublished photos, album art and stories of his time with Prince. Can't wait!!

I really like the artwork for the CD, but I really don't like the cover. However, this could have been an early drfat and never finished into production artwork.

.

I don't like the typography nor the washed out colours.

.

Maybe this would look nicer if manufcatured as an actual CD.

.

It's a shame the images posted are just low resolution (other than the CD).

.

lol lol

The girl with the curly hair and her head flipped to the side is Geneva. She was a dancer with him during The Rainbow Children era. She was on the cover to the "Supercute" single. If you see him performing "The Ballad of Dorothy Parker/4" on The Tonight Show, she's the dancer. She toured with him on the Hit N' Run tour around that time, too, but didn't seem to be around once he toured for The Rainbow Children. She also did some talking on some of the NPG Ahdio Shows, I think (as did another female).

Her real name is Tomasina Parrott.

That he seems like such a good person makes it way more difficult to say anything negative about his or anyone else's work. But the problem people have is only about his work. Myself included.
Just not up to professional commercial artist level and the art is not charming enough to chalk up to "amateurish but charming non-the-less"

But again, he seems like a super good guy and I thank him for posting the artwork which in association with Prince, makes it part of Prince's art history and important in that way too.

She's currently married to Larenz Tate, star of Love Jones, a movie Prince referenced in On the Couch.

Loved her dancing on the Hit and Run tour...they had great chemistry.

I bet you bought Dirty Mind with his thigh sideburns. Or Lovesexy where he's totally naked. or Prince where he had his junk rubbing on the back of a horse.
