I mean... they could have staged that just for the sake of having some footage. It's entirely possible. That sort of "can you just do this so we can see it" thing happens all the time in b-roll stuff. I say that also because, why would he have 4 songs instead of 1 or 2? I can't quite figure out who that guy is, though. I'm sure he's an engineer, but it doesn't look like Koppleman.

All that aside - MY GOD THOSE SHELVES! It'd really be nice to just see the whole goddamn thing. It's not like we are going to hear anything unreleased or bootleg something. Just film a walk through, let's see the alleged items sitting in there, and is there a second storage area down there? That looks pretty big to begin with.

Sometimes I wonder if Prince didn't enjoy just hoarding stuff. Anyone who walks in a room organized and filled with a lot of the same stuff can get pleasure from that. It's a bit like having a collection of X-men action figures, or Avengers merchandise - where someone buys old retail display counters, and sets up a bedroom in their house with all their stuff. Hell, I had my own Prince room (I called it the Vault, actually) for a long time. A friend of mine had a Beatles room in his basement (with the display counter!). He had some incredible items. I think as big of a Prince fan as I am, he was an even bigger Beatles fan. If I were Prince, I could get off on walking into that vault and thinking "Fuck yeah, everything the light touches is mine, muthafukkas!" haha
