Met Prince too late

Hi everyone this is my first time writing into this forum. I was reading all on the web about prince and came across this site. I became fascinated by Primce after he passed. It makes me sad because the more I read about him the more Inwant to know. I am reading his biography By Ro ronin . It seems pretty authentic this far, what did u think? Did it get u close
to understand the man behind the music. Like u all I felt and still feel sadness for him. I wished he had someone to love him. His first wife's relationship at the time seemed genuine but not sure about the second one. Not sure if his family relations were close. He was writing his own biography but I get the sense that his music was his biography. Does anyone know if the 50 or so pages were ever seen by anyone? As for all of the drama with tidal and the estate. Plus touring Paisley Park hop to make it there I day, wish they would think of quality and what he wanted instead of going after the money. Feel real sad that in the end although his music will outlast the test of time, in the meantime his family, lawyers, industry etc are now lobbying to get their hands on $$$$ - even JaZ.

I have not read any biographies except Dez Dickerson's autobiography called My Time With Prince. I am hesitant to read anything from anyone that was not a bandmate or worked closely with Prince. I too did not dig deep into his career until after his passing of which I greatly regret.

You may be too late to see him in concert, but not too late to experience the genius of his artistry through his music. There are untold hours of unreleased songs, concerts, rehearsals, soundchecks, etc floating around on there online so just start diving in and enjoy.

Totally agree.his life truly is in his music. Of course, some narration is also required to fully understand. However, we all hurt so bad b/c of his sincerity to his art...

Just listen and you will see what wehave seen.
