Upcoming Prince-featured Shows on TV

Tuesday, 11/15/16 @ 4am EST:
New Girl (episode w/Prince) on TBS

Thursday, 11/24/16 @ 10:30pm EST:
Purple Rain on VH1
(I believe this one cuts out certain scenes and language so I just purchased it)

As a side note, does anyone know if AXS (terrific TV music station) has a "Big Interview" episode with Prince? I thought I'd seen in the past that they did. I already saw their "Rock Legends" episode featuring him.

Regarding The Big Interview with Dan Rather, it was just a profile of him after he died. Another one included Bowie. AXS TV is a cool channel, but it's not a music channel per se. They highlight MMA, concerts, movies, and comedy specials, too. If people remember, it used to be HDNet but was rebranded a few years ago as AXS TV (pronounced Access TV for those who don't get it). I remember it changing back when we had DIRECTV in about 2012 or so. If memory serves, Mark Cuban started HDNet with some partners.

VH1 will always edit stuff out. It's not premium cable, so anything with a commercial is going to get edited to death. I will watch a few chunks on VH1 or MTV, but I'd rather pull out the bluray, or stream it from my in-house cloud.

Thanks Triv
AXS has music tv series and a lot of interviews.
Tonight they have a Guns n Roses concert live at the Hard Rock Casino.
I just taped a Carly Simon special and a carpenters special and they have many other greats on there
But not enough Prince.

Thanks, I bought the New Girl episode from Amazon, but I'm only able to watch it on my iPad, so I'm looking forward to watching it on TV.

If you have an AppleTV, you can probably AirPlay it. Also, if you have a smart TV, you probably have Amazon Video app on it to watch all your digital Amazon content.

Yes. I went into a local Radio Shack and they gave me two short adapters that connect. One end of them goes into my iPhone and the other into my TV (I just plug it into one of the HDMI choices, and everything on my little iPhone plays on my huge TV screen. It's so great.
