I'm not reading too much into it. It was more than about him being intimate. He knew the end was near and wanted to spend his final days with his fans. The P&M tour was to get him through his "struggle"

There is no evidence for any of that. As soon as I ask what his struggle was you have to start guessing as to which horrific illness he might have had. Which would have to be something bad enough that he knew he was going to die... but not so bad that he couldn't travel & perform.

And there is no evidence that he was NOT sick. It showed when he was at the warriors game with Damaris and at the shows. He was losing weight and stayed covered up to his neck. You could see it in this face that he was ill. But even with him being ill he was a pro. He's been touring for three decades and he was gonna keep on traveling & performing despite being ill. He just did in April when he had to postpone his show in April. Where have you been? As far as his "struggle" I've already mentioned, I still think it was C.... and I'm still going with it. All you naysayers can go with what ever you want.

Sigh.

Yet nobody mentioned anything at the time? Only nafter the fact.

...and you're welcome to believe anything you want. However, at this point you've taken it upon yourself to diagnose him with terminal cancer. I'd say you're speculating wildly.

If I can steer this thing back, the whole point to my initial post is the shows need to be released. I would prefer them done by the estate. However, I'm amazed no soundboard has leaked. If I were the estate I would make sure to get in front of this. As a fan I'll take either one at this point. Let's make some noise to the decision makers if you all agree.

Regarding people not mentioning he looked ill,...if you read the comments from the Daily Mail article in January about his trip to St.Barts, many people commented on how sickly he looked.Iam assuming they were people who were not used to seeing Prince and thus were more objective

I took my 11 year old son to the Montreal show March 21st in a last minute decision. So glad I did.

I will just put it out there for anyone reading who might have the power to release these shows that I would pay a very pretty penny for the January 21 Paisley Park Gala P&M show.

I've seen a review of it that was lovely.

I would pay a pretty penny for those shows too. They were filmed also. I went to both shows and they were excellent.

Does anyone know the few songs apparently released on Tidal from the Sydney show were from a soundboard (Love in Repetition,, and at some point LRC/Dirty Mind ). I imagine they were but can't hear them to confirm this since I am no longer a subscriber. If so, I hipe this means that the concert will be available with better sound quality at some point in it's entiriety.

They played a couple of songs from Sydney P&M on a ipod in speakers while getting our pics taken during VIP tour

It feels like a rollercoaster of emotions while listening to most of the P&M shows...i smiled, laughed and cried every time i listened to it at night laying in bed with my eyes closed. I could imagine it was more precious and sensational seeing it live and up close.

It would take hours and days to go over eveything from P&M shows but i will personally share some that would make you go hmmm

* In one of Sydney shows during LGC: he sang "We're all excited, but we don't know why, maybe it's cause we're 'never gonna die'"

*Oakland: "New story". "self-preservation or else lose someone". "Come see me in Minnesota during summertime"

*Atlanta: "conversation with yourself". "instability in this planet". "need for us to get along".

In a couple of shows during PR, he would sing:"this friendship will never end"

This sounds juvenile but when he sang Girls&Boys, i honestly was shocked that he said "ass" since i could of sworn he would not say it in previous performances after 2000.

I love hearing his one-man show when he would pretend to have a conversation with a woman and it was so entertaining (even if i couldn't hear all of it word for word ). Or any other time he would speak either directly or indirectly towards the audience.

He highly emphasized from what i listened to are "Funk is Space" , "Self-Preservation" and few others

They were soundboard. Joy In Repetition from Sydney released 3/9/16, LRC/Dirty Mind from Sydney released 3/11/16, and Black Sweat from Atlanta released 4/14/16. Princevault.com is your friend! biggrin

I know it only seems like a minor thing but he definitely said "ass" when singing Girls and Boys at the Sydney show...

Re: Girls & Boys and saying "ass" I wonder if that was just an oopsie? I have a recording from 2015 at PP where he sings When Will We Be Paid and it segues into Girls & Boys and he defninitely says "butt" not "ass". I re-listened to the Sydney recording I have and his voice is a bit muddled. I only noticed it because I was specifically looking for it. Maybe it was clearer if you were actually there.
