Back in the day when the larger public was finally enamored with P cuz...Purple Rain...I found a biography that said P was 5'6" and of course I knew that wasn't accurate, but anytime anyone made a comment about his height, I'd use that book to defend him.
I couldn't care less that he was short, but I refused to let a non-fan discuss it without defending him cuz they were usually being derisive.
I know, I know...
I get in my feelings about P, always have.
