Dolly the sheep was cloned in 1995, and all those lamb photos on the sleeve art to Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic would suggest that he already has been cloned, at least in Prince World. Certainly achieved a state of memetic replication that doesn't bear any weight in a Lancashire branch of Wetherspoons.

Apparently the real Prince died in 1984 in a motorcycle accident and CVT was made to stand in as Prince and all of the music up to Parade had been made by the real Prince was in the can. Tracy product starts with SOTT, hence why he disbanded the revolution and stepped back from proteges like the Time and the Family.

Tracy was light skinned, smaller and of almost white ancestry, the true Prince was blacker. Tracy did not like graphic sex lyrics and toned them down. Probably rubbish, but an amusing read anyway.
