I was wondering the same thing !? If there is one, there better be a 'droid version, lol

I think the app is only available for 'Droid. Too bad I'm an Apple junkie. sad

I thought it was odd that you could see the outline of the entrance to the elevator in the atrium. They covered up the entrance on the other side but the one in the atrium was covered but still had an obvious cut out or space. Not sure if it was half finished or what....

I didn't see/notice any trace of the elevator at all. Where was it located?

At one point in a hallway, we walked past a large, free-standing wood and glass cabinet that looked a bit out of place and was right up against the wall. I wondered if that was covering the elevator? eek

My PP tour was my first time inside there so I definitely have no idea where the elevator is. In fact I was thinking a place that big might have more than one?

GOOD GRIEF.. it wouldn't be very difficult, at all, for Prince's estate to get a carpenter to install a door in front of the elevator access. Then visitors would simply see what looks like a door to a storage closet, and think nothing of it.

Where was it located?

It has two openings. I went back and pulled up old videos of Opra getting a PP tour to verify. The first is is the very first hallway that starts the tour. A poster of tickets for the musicology tour covers it with no trace at all. But it also has an opening in the atrium. Along the the right hand side wall if you are standing in front of the urn. The doorway is an odd shape and they have it covered and painted but the odd shape has large gaps in it. When u go and look at the video. It is right there and has "elevator" written on the wall next to it.

Interesting. I'll have to look for that video and check it out.

I wonder what they will do long-term? Surely they will want/need use of the elevator in the future?

I'd say they did an effective job of hiding it.

I looked right at that framed poster with the tickets and had no idea the elevator was right behind it. Before that day, I had never been to PP.

Next up - small rooms are set up to display costumes and artwork for each album.
Lovesexy's door is closed with a sign that says coming Spring 2017.
Right next door... a room for The Black album. Also closed with the door painted black. What could possibly go in there?

The black door with The Black Album along the side made me laugh. Yeah, what could possibly...
The other funny thing I saw was on the shelf in the video editing room, Graffiti Bridge on VHS. 😁

Hmmm... make the room pitch black like a haunted house, with latex gloved arms and hands attached to the walls which pimp slap you as you walk in... while "ain't that a bitch!", and "new coat huh? That's nice... didja buy it?" can be heard on loop.

That glass cabinet used to be in the lobby (to the left when you walked in) and held awards. There were also chairs etc for sitting like a proper lobby. Not sure when it was moved, but they completely emptied out the (rather small) lobby to make room for people coming in for the tours. This area definitely needs some decorative attention at some point.

Do you think they made the black album room, then at the last minute killed the idea and started work on the Lovesexy room?

I always heard these stories about P's office having 3 beds in it (one round, etc). Are they talking about another office or the one we toured? I've seen it described this way in many articles..."According to Time, Prince’s private office was hard to describe. There were stained glass doors and inside, he had three beds, a king-sized bed, a round bed, and a day bed. The room had one large mirror that hung on the wall over the king-sized bed. The room had sofas, chairs, and a desk, which according to Time, were all built large-scale."

This is not what his office looked like at all. And his desk was small, not large scale. Do you think maybe did he change it since those interviews, etc done when they describe the room? Hi office was one of the coolest things in the tour because you know he was in there all the time.

Also, this statement is completely false (as anyone can see even from the outside of the building and of course inside)..."Strangely enough, there are no windows on the first floor because Prince wanted a feeling of timelessness while he was working, recording or writing."

I know there are a lot of "lies" out there, but does anyone know about the office and if it was the office on the tour, or maybe another office esleware in PP? It even says stained glass doors. I remember seeing stained glass doors in a video UPSTAIRS near his private residence. Maybe there was another office up there? Please help.

There is an office upstairs. You can see what it used to look like in the Gangster Glam video. Desk, chairs, couches, weight bench, etc...

That's great. I never put that together that it was his office. hmmm lol So does anybody know did he turn that into part of the residence or is it still kept as an office? And also if you here people interviewed right after his death, some say he had a house nearby and didnt actaully use PP for a permanent residence. I know he's had some houses in the past nearby, but this guy said it just recently, as in he wasnt living there at the time around his death. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

First I've heard of that. Everything I've heard/read says he was actually living at PP, and the initial court filing by Tyka indicates that was his residence:

Dave the engineer said the room was built by him as a screening room and everyone who worked at PP knew about this room.
