Jan 21 Piano & Mic Pro Shot

I saw a clip from the show today at Paisley. It was Free Urself and it looked great. We need the entirety of both historic shows that night to be released.

From your mouth to God's ear. Or should I say from your keyboard to the Tyka's eyes or whoever is in charge of that decision. I would buy it for myself for christmas.

Good news. I always heard that he shot most of his concerts. The Vault must be released!

Footage of that night is one of two things I would most love to see, because I saw reviews of it by fam who were there and they describe it as being incredibly emotional among other things. Prince talked a lot too.

The other I want very much to see is Montreux 2013. What I have seen of it looks great. I would pay pretty good money for either

Some said that it was filmed with a single camera and it would not be the type of quality that could be released but was only fiomed for his personal review. This was multiple shots and perfect quality. It was the absolute highlight of the tour. They show it in the big main soundstage along with live clips from other tours.

I'd love to get Montreux 2009 & 2013 along with Hop Farm and North Sea Jazz from 2011. I have the latter two from YouTube but I would buy official video/audio recordings in a heartbeat.

It seems obvious to me that releasing with publicity a double CD from his last tour would be an artistic and commercial success if done soon. The concerts have enough familiar material to the casual fan to draw them in (esp.with the almost guaranteed great reviews) and enough new things that would trigger them to explore his catalogue. A streaming/DVD option could be available too.

I agree, love Montreux 2009, Hop Farm and North Sea. Even some of the Coachella sounds good.

I tried to google it with the wording you gave but found nothing.
I will be ok with waiting until it comes out and will be honored to pay for it either way

Here is a story about the January concert from Rolling Stone. I hope they release it too.

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/live-reviews/prince-stuns-at-emotional-piano-and-a-microphone-solo-show-20160122

"The set's final song was the mystical "Anna Stesia," from Prince's 1988 album Lovesexy, that culminated in a sing-along: "Love is God, God is love/Girls and boys, love God above." It offered a spiritual resolution to a performance that highlighted struggle and hard-won knowledge.

"This is what I usually do this time of night," Prince said at one point. "It's better with you all present." A genius, at home, alone at the piano, performing to maybe a little more than a thousand fans — it was unmistakably a once-in-a-lifetime event. Of course, there was a second show an hour later. Because Prince is the kind of guy who makes once-in-a-lifetime events happen twice in the same night."

"Hold on to your souls y'all. We got a long way to go. Thank you! We love y'all!"

That's cool but the Atlanta show has to be released first.

Rolling Stone, a magazine that I lost my respect for years ago, really got Prince and the Piano and Microphone just right!!!
