Yesterday was tough with the Emmy's and the Vikings tribute. I always used to see those award shows where they show photos of those that have passed and I used to wonder when Prince would be on there. I never in my life thought it would be 2016. It felt real yesterday and less like a nightmare, which makes it even more of a nightmare. My only comfort are his lyrics, "you are everything. All of it is U" and "I am the universe." Whenever I see anything beautiful I know that it is our Prince. This is just so hard. | |

I always find it hard to watch these tributes at the best of times, but it was heartbreaking to see him up there this year. I cried, he should still be here, but I'm glad they recognised his contribution. Come now, isn't life a little better with a pair of good shoes? - Prince 1985 | |

It was beautiful the clip they chose of him and how they saved him for last. Very happy they did that but oh my word was that strange to see him in the In Memoriam part of an awards show. Even now it's just so strange. We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . . | |

Unlike you, I never wondered when Prince would be there as I always thought he would live forever-- or at least outlive me. It was sad to see others there as well with Prince. It was a sobering experience knowing that someday, we, too, shall pass... "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

If anyone wants to download this video before ABC takes it down do the following. Using the Firefox browser download the VideoDownloadHelper extension. It will show up on your toolbar with a three colored dot logo. Open the site below and start playing the video. http://www.gossipcop.com/...nce-watch/ Once the commercial at the beginning finishes click on the three colored dot logo on the tool bar and it will give you the option to download an MP4 video file. You can save it wherever you want on your computer. Keepvid.com is a great site for downloading YouTube videos but this works for formats that aren't YouTube (not sure if it works with Flash video). It's hard to process, I understand the world moves on but I'm not fully there. It's a hard watch all round. The young guy Anton Yelchin bothered me too. He never reached his full potential. Promising actor. Sold short. Robbed of life really. 2016 has been a terrible year. |
