Johnathan shouldve been more involved in UTCM I was outside mowing and the scene from under the cherry moon popped in my mind .the scene when prince is on the couch and Mary is talking to her bf Johnathan on the phone . I recall Johnathan telling Mary he was coming to France in a few days .I just think it would've been cool if Johnathan actually did go and meet up with Mary to find out Christopher was hittin it'.it seems like they just totally forgot about him. Plus that voice was hilarious .wonder if it was prince voicing him? What do y'all think would've happened ? | |

I used to always think it was Prince, but am not so sure as he never used that voice again, and I thought he would have recylced it if it was his. I love it, it sounds like a parody of Carey Grant, though this character is meant to be pretty square. I thought about your suggestion. For me it would kind of ruin the flow of a movie I love. He could have met up with Christopher and Tricky and Mary and been schooled by that pair of street hoodlums. It could end with Johnathon being exasperated as he searches Paris for a wrecka stow or a sam co albam. I think the phone scene was perfect and the Isaac and Mrs Wellington bits were far more interesting. | |

I dont have anything to confirm, but I always thought it was Dr Fink doing Jonathan's voice...only because when I was 12 and saw UTCM at the theater, I just automatically thought FINK. And yes, that would have been cool to see stuffy Jonathan walk down the stairs with Tricky and catch Mary and Chris tonguing next to the car! "Don't u 2 make a sexy couple!"
