My Goddaughter would always ask me 2 put that on 4 her when she was little. She loved it. She's 14 now, rang me as soon as she heard on that day in April. She was not impressed when her girlfriends said who's he? I think that is so sweet and a lasting tribute to Prince. Alot of kids know who he is because of the Muppets and especially the Happy Feet songs | |

Said 2 her girlfriends "Oh no! My auntie! Bless her. I played it down coz she's a sensitive soul, she wasn't fooled tho. Anything from the Musicology era. I loved the MTV special. Also American Idol. I remember being super excited for two whole weeks before the show because there was a rumor he was going to be on. Then, there were only a few minutes until the final was over and I started sulking because he didn't show. But then I heard the first few bangs of 'Lolita' and almost lost it!!!!  It was the shock of it all that made it even more exciting for me. And the fact that it pissed Simon Cowell off made it a million times more awesome. Everyone was on their feet dancing and excited and he was just sitting there in his little chair being a grump lol And I LOVED the super bowl. I was in Indiana at the time so it was a REALLY big deal. I have other live performances I love but I'm just refrencing a few the ones I got to see when they were broadcasted and were in my lifetime. Best memories ever. Prince, you've given me so much to be greatful for.  <3 | |

My fav. is his guitar solo on "my guitar gently weeps" with Tom Petty. . I just watched it again tonight. He SO nailed it! . WHAT a talent he had and it warms my heart that I believe he knew it. Eventually every cloud runs out of rain. | |

I like SNL and Prince singing "Electric Chair" - just love how gorgeous he looks in this performance! Also, like Prince on Leno (episode where he wore the purple outfit) and when he popped up out of the sun roof of the limo. I really like the way he looked on the CNN hour long interview. I liked him when he had the long hair on the concert special from Paisley Park wearing the shiny blue jumpsuit and he was so handsome when he got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's really hard to narrow it down to just one.
