He was really hardcore - not sure where he gets his $$ to support his concerts, travel and collection, but he was a font of knowledge and was the real deal.

Anywhoo--SUPER fun night and I'm so glad I went and got to experience this. I'm not sure where the tribute concert plans are at, but I really feel like I've done my thing now...at times it was almost a "churchy" feel (but not in a bad way!). First Ave really is a special place. Quest did a great job spinning a bunch of P classics and vault stuff and mixed in some Time and others before and after. Sorry I don't remember any specific playlists, but I was trying to stay in the moment. It didn't vary much from the other nights.

Last thing - I had a pretty decent spot near the front and some chick next to me was SITTING ON THE FLOOR almost the entire time!! Looking at her facebook with earbuds in!!! WTH??? She did manage to get up for Raspberry Beret and a couple of the other huge hits, but otherwise, I was nearly stepping on her the whole time! SO WEIRD! Oh yeah - I caught an earring!

Hi GH! I did - it wasn't has difficult as I thought, mostly because EVERYONE (well, except the chick next to me) was in the same boat and we were all going thru it together. And it ended in one big dance party, so what could be better, right?
