Is this Dr guy a personal friend of Manuela?

I ask becase he sounds very evasive when discussing what may be revealed if the divorce documents are unsealed. He sounds as if he has personal knowledge of what is in those documents.

He was very guarded and protective of P.

I am now listening to the second half. Dr. doing what Dr. ALWAYS does- he says there is a lot of drama behind the scenes of the October tribute BUT "I don't want to get into that." Which is perfectly understandable but why hint around about things you're not prepared to reveal?

I'm still only part of the way thru but I get that feeling 2. It's almost like if U're gonna be so cryptic then just don't go there at all?

I always thought he was close with Manuela because he had the exclusive about her wedding to Eric & her pregnancy. I think it was exclusive anyway, can't remember. And she also reached out to Prince through him. He is protective of Prince but he also reveals a lot. Don't think Prince would be too pleased but he has a gossip blog so guess it's his job

Well I must be really jaded. Zero confidence in mainstream corporate media.

Actually, I've really become cynical in my old age. I just read an article on conspiracy theories in the Times. Terrifying.

I learn more from message boards (like Prince.org) and the comment sections of the Times, than I actually do from the articles the comments support.

What does this have to do with a divorce that took place in 2006?

Thinking they were back in court until what, 2010? Maybe later than that. Wondered if it wasn't more about this business deal that Mrs. Benet led as PPE, that was to have been her obligation in the settlement. But she didn't pay it and the company came after Prince. She dumped the debt on him and perhaps that is part of what is in the divorce proceedings.

Between that debt and the 20 year support payment to his first wife, and the heat and electricity for PP in the winter--no wonder the poor guy had to get up from his sick bed to perform. Then, there is still the question of the heir mentioned by the law firm in July. Some information that could impact inheritance--that must not have been anything since properties are being sold, attorneys being paid, and a plan developed for the estate.

Really have to wait. I read in a short USA Today story that his record sales are still going strong and people who knew of him but not necessarily followers, are beginning to experience the genius that was Prince.

He supposedly was a close, personal friend of Prince. he's stated that Prince (paraphrased) 'contacted him and asked him to come to Paisley Park after the plane incident'. i don't remember what reason he gave for not going. or maybe he did go for that Saturday party but then he went back to LA? i'm not sure. but i have never been a fan of "the Doc" for a variety of reasons.

He's supposed to be quite close to Prince & Prince's camp. He says Prince considered him a friend.

Yeah he did attend the last PP party. He has changed his story a bit in regards to some things he said about it but I feel like I'm the only one who notices these things since there's not much conversation around here about him.

I've been "braced" for whatever information is revealed under whatever circumstances...and have been since April 21st, 2016...and nothing that's revealed will change my love for P...nothing short of him being a serial killer...

Maybe the sealed documents will reveal that P secretly snuck out for greazy 1/4 pound hamburgers and sausage on a stick.

Sometimes, I can't help but think we are all unwitting and unpaid participants in research for someone's book or expose, or court case . The amount of Prince info that can be found here is unrivaled. Somebody somewhere, or several somebody's somewhere are sitting back like:
