Me thinks ThePez got all CNN on us with the thread title. It was Aiight...cool even. But "scorching,"... I unno...

Reminds of of occasions on CNN where Politician X says statement B about politician Y but statement B is all inflammatory when it could have been more accurately described with statement A. Like Clinton SLAMS trump, or Ryan FIRES back at Pelosi. Like they're wrestling or having a shoot out or something.

I will always hold that "Purple Rain" should simply not be covered - ever.

Why don't people understand this??? No one has the chops. No one.

No one has the chops? You must not listen to many musicians.

"Scorching" lmao a more accurate a word would be "awful" That lady-thug singing, giving her professional thingy. I hate that kind of singing. There must be people, maybe stupid folks who like it, as much as they are capable of liking in any way. I clicked, expecting little. What I listened to was quite depressing.

Are you talking about the Comfortably Numb one? Yes it's great, but I was thinking about stand alone version,s specifically with singing...its the voice where I think it really doesn't work when other people do it...I quite like a number of the instrumentals...also mixing it with something as awesome as Comfortably Numb might be cheating a tad smile

Not like I love my guitar....
