OK...so I got chills all over reading this. THIS just happened to me today....before lunch, around 10:30ish. Anyway...I was adding the phrase "The Password Is What" and I had been working in a font that was similar to the Sign O' the Times font. AND...I sh#t you not, the font out of nowhere switched to a font called "Still Time" and it's an almost exact replica of the Purple Rain font from the movie. I have never seen that font on my system (not to say it wasn't on there before), but I never realized it was and never used it in the past. I swear I was so shocked that it just randomly used this font. I was almost like he was telling me "you know there's a font that would be even more Prince-like...here you go". haha It honestly made me smile and get all warm inside and had the feeling that P was right here with me and had something to do with it. Sure it could have been a fluke, but still!!!

I've seen many things that have been freaky or coincidences since his passing, but this one just was so random that it truely made me feel like it was him playing a joke or trying to get my attention. And also the font name being "Still Time" I instantly thought of "Still Would Stand All Time".

Also a month or so I was at a friend's lakehouse, walking on a Lake Michigan Beach, and my 3 year old found some rocks (she loves rocks, so did my late mother...she passes away last September of ALS). Well one of the rocks was so unique. It is oval with a circle in the middle. It looked like an eye. I instantly thought of Prince and my mom (Prince because of the "third eye" and my mom because of the fact it was a rock and she loved and collected rocks everywhere she would go). I thought it was either a sign from P or from my mom saying "I'm here watching you and my grandchildren". Well I was just recently watching the fly over of PP and realized that the "egg" building is in the shape of an eye. And it looked just like the rock! The rock is grey and had a black circle in the center, but still same shape.

We should all list these things we keep seeing, hearing, realizing on here. maybe he really is trying to tell us he's ok and is still around. Some of us are really hurting and maybe he's trying to comfort us. And maybe it' just a coinisidence. But it's cool, either way and it made me feel pretty good today! Like he's ok and he's still playfully messing with us! And that he's probably met my mom up there as well.

that font thing is trippy!

If you take that together with the dream posted in the other thread it makes a pretty clear message. 'I'm sorry I had to go so quickly, I was in pain, now I'm not, I'm free.' It's all very Way Back Home, but with a less gutwrenching vibe, as if from the other side. I don't know, there's a small part of me that's a skeptic, and then there's a bigger part of me that thinks there's just way too much about this world and any other worlds we just don't understand. Anyway, it's been a helluva few months, I think I'm going to choose to take it...I guess I do think that if there is any awareness out there which is him, and he does know how upset we all are, he would want to tell us that to help us all... Thanks for sharing

For those of you who will ask (LOL) it was today at 12:43pm. I'm working out, playing a workout mix under the Genre category of my iPod. There is no Prince music on this mix, on any of the mixes in this genre on my iPod (but there's a ton of Prince on the iPod itself, of course).

Every now & again, when I don't even realize I've touched the face of the iPod, it'll just switch to another song that's completely separate from whatever I'm listening to at the time. BUT my hands were nowhere near the iPod. The song that was playing was "Lolli Lolli" by Three Six Mafia (please don't judge me ). All the sudden, it switches to a Prince song for about 3 seconds or so - I don't even remember which song it's from, the choices are infinite but I'm expecting someone here to easily identify the lyric (I recently got around to loading some of my boots into iTunes). The lyric was, "Listen... I don't feel no pain." & then it switched right back to Lolli Lolli.

I am not shitting you. I swear to God & on everything I love, this shit happened. It completely freaked me out for a good 2 minutes, my heart was fucking racing. But I calmed down & remembered all the times random iPod shit has happened - hoping the next song wouldn't be "Way Back Home", & that's exactly what came on... but that's understandable, I'd played it a million times before all this, so the iPod was simply cycling to something I clearly loved & played repeatedly. BUT THIS SHIT??? It's admittedly WEIRD, not chalking it up to anything otherworldly AT ALL - I believe in spirits & unexplained shit, but not knowing the man personally means "he" has zero reason to "communicate" with me, so I'm not trying to take it there AT ALL. I'm sharing this because it's goddamn strange & I can't really share this shit with anyone else.

Freaky, right??!!! & just a sidenote - last night (after watching the making of the "A Million Days" video) I attempted to watch the PP tour Ingrid did years ago, but as soon as they stepped in the elevator I felt sick, skipped through it to see if P was anywhere on it, then abandoned it. It was just too much.

**last side note: I may have made sense of this a little. I recently created "PRINCE" as a genre, so "FITNESS" & "PRINCE" are the only 2 genres I've created in iTunes. I'm guessing some wires got crossed there. Still, the lyric snippet is trippy as shit

***oh holy fuck, now we're back to weird - just as I thought I'd made sense of it (in the last sidenote above), I listened to the song on my iPod Classic (with my entire catalogue on it). I laughed my head off - I remember the song & liked it when I first got that boot, haven't listened to it in years. BUT the blip happened on my iPod Mini, too small for the whole catalogue. I wondered if I'd somehow crammed the new "Prince" genre onto that iPod so I went looking. "DO YOURSELF A FAVOR" IS NOT ON MY iPOD MINI!!!!! WTF, people??!! The "Dreams" boot isn't on the iPod either, because I simply loaded it into iTunes, but didn't pull anything from it for playlists, let alone a song I'd forgotten about. This. Shit. Is. Officially. A few weeks ago I went to visit family in LA. I was riding along in the car and just staring out the window, looking at all the stores along the way. One shop was named 'something - Revolution". Of course that put a smile on my face. 2 seconds later the next shop was called "Prince's - something something" At that point I was like ok that's weird. Then the shop next to that was "Camille's Beauty - something". At that point all I could do was laugh. Mind you, i've been down this street more times than I can count and I've never noticed the names of the shops before. Was it him showing me this? Who knows. But the fact that I never noticed them until now was a bit ironic to me.

I think that's cool not freaky. I had something like that happen to me awhile ago when I was coming back from the store. I was making my way back and out of nowhere, a dove just flew past me and landed on the roof across from my house. We don't really see doves around here often

Freaky shit happens. P's passing has sent me off on a load of old reminicences, and the other day I was thinking about an old boyfriend (who looks like a real-world version of P, very cute, just not out-of-space cute ). Anyway, I stopped talking to him about 10 years ago b/c reasons...and haven't heard from him for nearly 5, and the day I'm sitting there thinking about him, bam, I notice an fb message in the tab where messages from people you are not fb friends with goes. It's been sitting there for over six weeks, and the day he sent it? 7 June. World is damn weird.

One other thing that is a freaky coincidence is that on my itunes library on my computer, I created an Unreleased album of Prince songs that I've added that didnt belong within an actual released album. So, some albums that you get on itunes for example will come through with album artwork, but songs or albums that are uploaded from other sources such as CD's, etc. have no artwork for the cover. Maybe you can add them, but I've never been able to figure out how.... SO.... for this "Unreleased Prince-STUDIO" that I created...the album cover it randomly used the following pic of lyrics from the song "Eternity". All black background, blue and purple letters that say only this "I want 2 be with U 4 all eternity". The strange thing is that any other albums that I "created" have no album cover at all. And that song is not the first song on the album either. It's like halfway through the list. Oh and I didnt have a photo of those lyrics either. Although I might have a video somewhere of the lyrics playing with the song. But if so, it's on a seperate external drive. Just sort of strange....and the lyrics are:

***UPDATE: this is a glitch, a weird glitch, but a GLITCH. I heard it again today - it's not on the original mix CD, but it happened in the same spot of the same song. Happened on import, & now it's just in iTunes like that (I've now heard it on 2 iPods, & on the computer, didn't think to do all that initially). Still strange, but less so now that there's physical evidence of its existence. I'm less baffled now, but it's still trippy. I'm gonna keep this odd import, delete all the other songs on this mix, change the color of the image to purple & reclassify it as Unknown Genre Just reimported the cd so I can use it without being thrown for a loop!***
