Entrance to Paisley Park

I'm going to try this another way. I'm assuming when I go to Paisley Park next year that I won't be able to access any of the property inside the fence. I read on a thread that someone got flowers, rocks, etc. from PP but I'm assuming that was all outside the property line. Maybe by next year things will be different, but as of now I'm wondering how worth it is to go? If you've been can you give some pointers on visiting PP?

I was there last night. The property is surrounded by a chain link fence, which has become a memorial, where fans leave items, etc.

.

By the time you come here in a year I hope P.P. will be open for tours, etc.

.

Speaking of the fence: Can anyone enlighten me why people leave dollars? I saw some one dollar bills in baggies, more bills tucked in the fence, etc. (BTW I'm proud that no one has jacked the $$$)

Eventually every cloud runs out of rain.

Well, round these parts, we are honest folk. That's why Prince stayed with us. Sure there were a few crazies, but for the most part, we all left his royal badness alone. He would go out on his own. No bodyguard or entourage, because he didn't have to worry. He wouldn't have been able to do that anywhere else. We were all just use to him being around. It wasn't a big deal. It was exciting when you did see him, but we had enough respect for him that we didn't freak out or make a big deal out of it. Some people would try to snap pics when they would see him and he would ask them politely not to, and most would respect his wishes. So money laying out, untouched makes perfect sense to me. Not sure of the meaning behind it. Maybe people trying to contribute a little to keep the estate afloat. That tax bill is coming up soon, and the last thing we all want is for paisley to be sold off.

You can walk around the fence surrounding it and look. You can not go inside. It is worth it to go, if you are a big fan and need to have that peace and closure. There are also other places that visit as well. There is a mural on the side of chanhassen cinema. There is another mural in Minneapolis. You can visit the Schmitt music wall in Minneapolis. The purple rain house, his childhood home (which tyka currently resides in), first Avenue, and if you have time to take an hour drive out to the country, you can visit the train bridge and spot where appolonia purified herself in the waters of "lake Minnetonka" which is actually the Minnesota river. Paisley isn't the only spot to go.

Chanhassen is basically an middle-class/upper middle-class suburb. Really nice folk and not a lot of crime. As far as why people are leaving money? No idea there. lol

What does the fence look like right now?
Is it filled again with things?
How many times have they emptied it? Just the once?
What's at the Schmidt music wall?

I was there when the guy left that guitar. It was a group of folks who flew in from Florida to pay their respects. I took a group picture for all of them. It was a beautiful moment. The fence stuff on the fence was taken down and preserved, but since a new memorial with new stuff has since been put up.

Google Schmitt music wall Minneapolis. One of Prince's most famous pictures was taken with that wall in the background. It's cool looking.

Seeing that guitar really activated my tear ducts. That and the heart-shaped balloon that said "I Love You".

You know what did me in? A bag of tootsie rolls. Just reminded me of a funny story my friend told me about P's body guards blocking the doors to holiday so he could go in and buy tootsie rolls. I almost hate going by paisley now that he is gone. It breaks my heart.

I don't think I saw the Tootsie Rolls, but I did see the box of Twinkies that someone left him. *cries*
