Matt Damon easily passed on going to a private party with P one night back in the 90s, he showed no interest at all. He wasn't a fan.

The best story I remember is the one about Sheena Easton, when she and Prince went out on the town and he wouldn't talk to her, he just looked at her, he said he just wanted to communicate with their minds.

We don't know what tone Matt Damon used. Perhaps he said it in a way that conveyed some sort of negative connotation or derision about Prince's beloved hometown. Remember when Dick Clark famously asked him, in his first nationally televised interview, after his performance on American Bandstand, "Where do you learn to do this in Minneapolis?" Some say it was that question that set the tone for that infamous interview. Quincy Jones laughingly tells the story of MJ and Prince meeting for MJ to try (unsuccessfully) to convince P to collaborate on "Bad." MJ reportedly said, "I don't even know where Minnenapolis is, mispronouncing the name. P reportedly said, "It's Minneapolis!!" LOL. Bottom line: Prince LOVED Minneapolis...and NOBODY better not say nothing bad about his Minneapolis!!
