Every time I listen to A Case of You from these shows I tear up. And then of course Purple Rain. You can tell its emotional for P too. He had so much more to give. Damn. sad

Yeah, I dont talk about Prince either apart from here and sometimes to my daughter, but really, nobody is interested and think it is odd behaviour I am still sad about it all - so it is best I just keep it to myself in private.

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

These are just so hard for me to watch...to know what his fate was...that these were the last recordings of him alive..his talent in playing... Just so sad

Are there videos of FULL concerts of Atlanta or any other PAAM shows?

Bighead

whenever I see video of it it makes me smile. He was performing and looks like he was very much enjoying what he was doing.

Two things stand out for me. First, he played and sounded so good to be someone who was hours away from a near death experience and days away from death. He had so much more left to give. Lastly, when he looked to the sky after the final note of Purple Rain it was chilling. He always acknowledges the man above, but this one was different.

I completely agree...I was at the 7 pm ATL show, and his playing and singing were both just flawless. My heart hurt at the sight of him when he first took the stage...he did seem particularly frail in appearance (to me...I've seen some posts where people state otherwise, but he just seemed fragile that night from my vantage point a few rows from the stage) and his face appeared drawn. However...his performance was powerful...and the few times when he walked around the stage, he did not appear to have any difficulty doing so. There was something in his eyes, though...the usual sparkle was not visible, but a look of acceptance is the only way I can describe it.

I've seen him on stage many times (that was the 13th) but I can't even express how grateful I am to the heavens for the blessing of that one last time...and it is painful for me to type those last three words:-(. That was a magical night (the candles, the incense, the solitary purple piano), yet there was a palpable sense of coming full circle.
"...'IN A SENSE,' he said, 'you're alone here... so if you jump, you best jump far'..."
