As noted in the caption, this is a work print of the movie. That's sorta been out for a while, but it's hard to find. There's a few interesting things in it.

Fake as hell, overdubs, Apollonia spins the flower on the original movie too. The bit about getting lucky may have been a soundcut from some cut scenes.

Thank you. I've edited the original post in a way I hope accurately reflects what the clip actually is: not a "deleted scene"; but a "workprint".

Yeah, I mean, part of the scene might have been edited a bit, but the workprint is an interesting view into how a film starts to be pieced together. The sound is never great on it. That video looks like someone filming the computer screen anyway. The work print is still rough, hissy, jumps around a lot. But it is real, and it's a bit like an early version of a song that we are all aware of with Prince. It's how directors kind of start putting scenes together, making changes, etc., before putting the final cut together.

It's not fake, people - it's a piece of the movie as it was still in progress. They swapped some of the lines from different takes for the final film.

That line was in a very very early bootleg VHS that was gifted to me by a friend of my boyfriend who knew I was crazy about P. You know that "sketchy" friend? He also got me 3 different versions of a Sylvester Stallone movie. I don't remember where it is, but at the time friends were like, "That movie's not out yet!"

Totally off topic, but the term 'sketchy' friend made me think about this guy that used to come around the school where my mom taught selling stolen chicken out of the back of his trunk.
