One Nite Alone... Live!

How many copies were made of this box set? I wonder if it sold very well? Igot my copy in 2002 when it was released. I found it on Amazon.ca for 800.00 I can't remenber how much I paid for it, but it was nowhere near 800 dollars

Wonder what the 21 Nights book/cd is going for. You couldn't give it away a month ago.

From what I've seen anywhere between, $60-250 rolleyes Which is a bummer for me, because I have the book but lost the cd.

From now on, 4 U I shall be wild 💜

When bought Sign O the Times LP in 1987 the guy who owned the record store put an extra copy in the bag. To this day I don't know why he did that. He did know I was a fan. I still have that Sign O the times LP unopened. When prince died I thought about that day back in 1987. It was a little odd, but it is my favorite Prince memory.

ONA was such a great tour. Unfortunatly, and this is just my opinion, there are far better live shows in circulation from this time period than what he actually decided to release.

I'm desperately hoping the March 5th, 2002 Columbus sound check video comes out. Or audio/ video of the division/ concert. If it does- my life will be the best!

This is a set that I have wanted for years, but was never able to find it reasonably priced sad Don't even get me started on the vultures selling it today ugh. I've seen it on eBay for $1000! I've been a die-hard fan since the early 80s, and have a huge collection of his music - but these prices are outrageous for a regular working middle-class income chic like myself :)Really sucks because I've literally been drooling over this one for years! SMH....Man I still cannot get over him actually being gone...seems so unreal...I alternate between extreme sadness and volatile anger...ugh

Leslievette, I saw the cd by itself on ebay. I thought about buying it myself but I couldn't remember it I still had mine. The Prince in Hawii book is going for $200-2,000.

Thank You Prince

Damn, I bought my box set for $15. At that time you could still order it through Amoeba Records for $60...

.

No soundboard concerts (tons of audience recordings that are quite good, of course), but there is a soundboard aftershow circulating - club Vega 2002, 26th October 2002

For some reason I had it in my head that the Copenhagen aftershow was merely an excellent quality audience recording. I'll have to go back and give it another listen (loading into iTunes now). Thanks for the heads up, Doozer! wink

Really?! Years ago I saw the books being sold in the Aldi supermarket in Holland, for less than 5 euros. They probably bought in a pallet deal, since it didn't sell at all in the record stores 😳

Sabotage Records ‎– SAB #242b
.
Definitely soundboard with a couple "cracking" flaws and an erratic drum machine during "Prince and the Band" causes Prince to flub some lyrics - a fun listen.

I love digging stuff out of the hard drive that I forgot about or maybe even never got around to listening to and discovering (or rediscovering) a new treasure. I must have listened to this once or twice way back when, but, WOW! this is a good one. Thanks again for the tip, Doozer. cool

When it comes to Prince bootlegs I am a completist & a digital hoarder. I grab every single thing I come across and sometimes I forget about this or that live show until someone is talking about. This includes a few years back when I came across complete catalogs (at that time) for SAB, 4DF, FBG, maybe another I'm forgetting about (see, too much to remember). It was impossible to listen to all of it so it just went on the hard drive and occasionally I'll go through and pick a few to load into iTunes. Sometimes it's something I forgot about, sometimes it's something I never got around to.

I'm so glad I have this obsessive "problem". It feeds my Purple Music Jones and has gotten me through these depressing weeks.

Copenhagen is a "new" favorite for me. It will be staying in rotation for some time to come... wink

What's the story with Sabotage's Continental Drift? I see it collects a lot of the same material that's on various official releases like Las Vegas Aladdin DVD & other ONA material. Is it just for people that missed the official releases or is there something unique about it?

Yep - Continental Drift is a compilation of soundboard recordings, as you described it. Will need to dig out my version to see smile

I've listened to some of it and read the liner notes but I'm not sure if some of this stuff is identical to official releases or not. Wish Digital Garden was up.

I recently revisited the Paris ONA bootleg, and the aftershow is darn close to soundboard, if not soundboard. An awesome listen.

Wow, I guess I have a small fortune in my possession with that boxset, some of the tour magazines, calendars, cups, shirts, tamborine, etc., that I have. Didn't realize that boxset would end up being worth so much monetarily, but it is priceless to me.
