Is the "Under The Cherry Moon" movie soundtrack available anywhere?

I love the UTCM movie and the music soundtrack provided by Claire Fischer.

I've tried looking for the soundtrack online but to no avail. I've had to get songs that contain samples from the movies (e.g. Jill Jones' "Mia Bocca" (extended version) and Prince's "Old Friends 4 Sale (The Vault version)").

Is the OP asking about the soundtrack (Parade) or the score?

If they are asking about the score, that's not available/has never been available.

.

You can find "Parade" on sites like Tidal.

.

I mean, you can find Jill Jones CD/album on ebay -- but it is no longer in print.

.

There are tracks that are available on CD (Alexa De Paris).

.

I recommend checking out discogs.com to find out what CDs that song is on.

.

Gamillah sounds like something that could have been from the score, if you're looking for something that sounds familiar.

Maybe something to think about for WB with a Parade reissue with all the songs and the rest of the music from the film.

Even though Clare Fischer is no longer with us, the site has a contact. Doesn't hurt to ask if they would put the music out, or for the time being, one or two songs.

Wish there was one. Would love Twilight Time to release Under the Cherry Moon on Blu-Ray and have an isolated score track as an extra like they do with most films they release on Blu-Ray (for example, the film, The Way We Were, with music by Marvin Hamlisch has an isolated score track).

I bought Parade on Amazon for $10 last week. It gave me the option to Auto Rip it.

I also bought HITNRUN phase one and phase two as well as Art Official Age for $30 on Amazon.

Ooooooh! Twilight Time would knock it out of the park. I treasure my TT copies of Absolute Beginners and The Fabulous Baker Boys!

Very good idea. I'm gonna send them a message and request it... cool

I'd love that too. I really like the PR score.

Hope they do it. The film deserves a Blu-Ray treatment. They usually print limited copies, too (I believe 3,000). I love my TT copy of Body Double. Love De Palma. cool

You know, the UTCM cinematographer, Michael Ballhaus, also shot Fabulous Baker Boys and he recorded a commentary track for that disc. I would love to hear about his experiences on UTCM!

Likewise. His cinematography for Scorsese's The Age of Innocence is one of my favorites, which, incidentally, needs a Blu-Ray release in the U.S. as well.

Probably not WB anymore. Rights are more likely Prince now -- or Clare Fischer if enough time has passed.

In regards to the score, don't be surprised if it is leaked.
