After I got my ability to speak back after looking into those hazel eyes, I'd go with The Love We Make, RNR Love Affair, Everlasting Now, Musicology, When Doves Cry, Let's Go Crazy, Cream and.. and.. Oh, just three.. Can't really do it.. cool

Thanks so much for this. What a gorgeous person and voice and mind. I'm going to have to look up live versions of The Ladder now.

Only thing I want to clarify is the reporter misquoted Prince at the end. The quote came from a 1990 RS interview. This is how it actually went:

There is still some residue of emotional pain. "What if everybody around me split?" he asks. "Then I'd be left with only me, and I'd have to fend for me. That's why I have to protect me."

Prince's detractors might diagnose these words as the classic pathology of a control freak. His high-minded supporters might say those are normal protective feelings for somebody who was kicked onto the streets by his beloved father at age fourteen. Prince himself, however, echoes Popeye more than Freud as he analyzes just who he is. "I am what I am," he says. "I feel if I can please myself musically, then I can please others, too."

Oh man I remember seeing this when it came out on the BBC. Pretty certain this also had footage of him in the studi with Mavis Staples recording God Is Alive and also recording a much rockier version of Lovesexy.
'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

BBC had accees to his vault footage, it was good ombinus with some cool footage like this, but also had too much already seen video's like When Doves Cry, but i suppose they have to have that for the none fans, I bet they had loads more backstage/rehearsal stuff like this they never used, lets hope it gets out soon.

Its from a BBC documentary/art series called Omnibus, that was 1 hour long about Prince, I think it was broadcast around 1991. Prince apparently gave them access to allot of footage from the vault, lots of back stage/after show footage.
