Cross The Line - origins

Anybody got some insight into this song? I only ever knew it as the part in the LoveSexy Tour, and just presumed it was made especially for the tour - having not being able to track it down anywhere else.

.

Turns out, thumbing through all my CDr downloads of various demos and unreleased stuff that I had this track all along but somehow missed it.

.

I love it.

.

The elements of Romeo and Juliet are pretty cool, and the track seemed to really fit the whole LoveSexy theme.

.

I've Googled it and come up with the name of Ingrid Chavez. So, this is an Ingrid Chavez track that Prince wrote? But it never appeared on anything that Ingrid released? Is this right?

.

Thanks.

Ah! Very cool! What I have here then is actually Intermission and not Cross The Line. Great knowledge. Thanks.

It's the audio played between the halves of the Lovesexy show. Not to be confiused with (in my opinion) the great "The Line".

Right a poem by Ingrid, but the inspiration for the song the Line
