Prince in concert before 3rdeyegrl...

I'm trying to understand why Prince would perform "cool" during the welcome2 tour and maybe during the musicology tour...he didn't do it with the revolution..I don't remember if he did it with 3rdeyegrl when I saw them in Mohegan sun and he brought out the npg horns....

Was it because he matured and crafted his playlist differently?
Talent of the backing musicians?

He performed 'Cool' with 3rdeyegirl in Europe in 2014. I was present when he played it in Birmingham and it's featured on the Tidal concert film with 3rdeyegirl from Paris in the same year.

It's also specifically "Cool" mashed up with "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" isn't it?

Seems right, but I swear he used something else with "Cool", too.

One of the best mash-ups he did was "Mountains" and then "Shake Your Body Down" from The Jacksons. The Jacksons' song is probably one of my favorite grooves ever. That piano hook - if that's a bug, let it bite me. dancing jig
