Yeah some are gone not sure how they are pulling them cause a lot that i watched because I had never seen, pro shot stuff of 3rd eye girl gigs, all are still there, so I think but not sure if its somehow linked to a label or tv show its gone, NBC WB etc..I think but then again some stuff is still there but someone had posted tons of tv stuff and all of it is gone in one shot.

They are back to being removed from the innernetz just like before Prince's passing. So if you see that a video link has been snipped by us mods, we ain't being nasty.

I did the same. Prioritize. First I watched all interviews and press conferences I could find, then I went for the live shows, the full hour and a half ones. Just been working and listening to those. And watching which has made me quite behind on work. But I keep thinking that soon they won't be there no more. And some of the live shows I've seen... Absolutely amazing. Prince was getting better and better in his live shows. The more relaxed he was the better. I so love this man. Will miss him dearly.

I never went over there to see any of Prince's videos after he died. He didn't want them over there anyway so I'm not mad. I've been a fan from way back. so i've seen his vids anyway throughout the years.

only reason i haven't seen much is that i've been on here most of my comp time. The vids will be back so i have forever to watch them.

I couldn't care less about the videos. I wanted to see/hear the live shows.

I'm sure someone will create a nice little package with all the videos together in the one place.

Theyre probably not removing vids by any kind of category. Probably removing them by user which is why it seems like there is no rhyme or reason as to why some things remain and others dont.

however long these videos will be pulled from the internet - that doesn't matter to me. like some here have already said, there are too many people with too many good videos to keep them all off the internet. at some point, whoever's trying to keep all the good prince stuff

by that 1st weekend after his passing, youtube filled up with great shows & videos from Prince's BELLE EPOQUE of 1978-87. that Dirty Mind club show (in Paris, je crois) is AWESOME.
in those 1st few weeks after Prince changed his frequency, I downloaded at least 25 excellent shows & videos. plus dozens of non-album/"unreleased" songs like "the sex of it". Prince in his absolute prime. the Prince music that made me a die-hard fan for all those years.

the last 2 things I'm really looking to get are the full Cobo '86 show & The Time doing 777 & The Walk on "Nighttimes Variety" in MPLS..

otherwise, I am pleased with the stash of video goodies I've collected so far.. & I look forward to getting whatever else I can from that era.

Yup, me too...over 270 so far. I do a search each night to grab more before they disappear.

Same, it's now or never ... knowing that it can be gone as quickly as it was uploaded I'm downloading every thing I watch or want to watch, the moment I see it on YT.

That's anything from Prince (interviews, tv shows, concerts, unreleased songs, demos, documentaries, tributes, etc. etc.). Thusfar I've collected over 120 GB (no typo) of Prince related stuff since his passing, and that's from YT alone. Using the right tool makes collecting YT stuff a breeze.

Of course ALL of the official Prince albums and videos I already own legit for many years or the day it was released so I don't feel bad about it.

Part of the reason is because maybe people aren't flooding the youtube so to speak anymore. If there's a flood it can't easily be controlled..So, it's easier for them to delete without so many coming in...Easier for them to get numbers down.

I saved some, but I do wish I had done more of the longer shows instead of some of the songs.

I don't mind the videos being removed, I recorded like 20 hours of videos between BET, CENTRIC, MTV and VHI the weekend Prince passed. It seem like they showed CREAM every hour on all the networks. There wasn't much variety, so I may not keep them. But I love the live shows on You Tube.

I started a YT channel not long after Prince had died as a tribute to his music. The first video (just audio with a still image) is still up; I tried uploading Alphabet St. only to find that it was blocked and I had an email "Due to a copyright claim, your YouTube video has been blocked" via WMG, so I deleted it (I didn't get a 'strike') and left the channel alone.

Just now, I thought I would try again and uploaded the Dinner with Delores video and WMG (or whatever bot YT use) flagged it as a copyright claim but have left it up, "The claimant is allowing their content to be used in your YouTube video. However, ads might appear on it".

A change of heart? I think I'll try some more videos to see if WMG still let them stay up.

I just uploaded The Morning Papers video and got the same copyright claim. WB get their 0.001 pence per view and people can actually watch the video on YT. Win-win, sort of.
