I also have been wanting to tell you all that the other day I was sitting outdoors and just felt so connected to him and God. Suddenly, the most beautiful breeze blew all around my head...my hair was picked up and the breeze was on my cheeks and all over my face as it blew past and through me. It felt so good. There was something very special about this breeze. I knew it was him. It felt like he was thanking me for loving him.
I'm not a "nut" or crazy either. I truly felt this...it really happened just as I *tried* to describe above, although I cannot explain it really.

There was a rainbow over Paisley Park back in 2000, too, during the Celebration. This was around the same time he took the name Prince back.

No one can send a rainbow as a sign. Here is the definition or an explanation of what a rainbow is:

A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.

Simple as that.

Some of us weren't referring to Prince creating rainbows, but a higher power.

I agree wholeheartedly. When that rainbow appeared over Paisley Park after his death I was like "That is Prince". "He is giving us a final goodbye". He was bigger than his shell. He was put here to do amazing things and I think he did all that he was supposed to do. He gave us everything he was and everythinghe had. And because of that, a part of him will always be with us.

the rainbow was not prince and not his final goodbye. He died alone and all you can think about is what he did for you. If he would have lived, most of you would have been demanding that he release more music days after. Some of you would have said, ' I know you had a close call, but when is the next album going to be out.' Selfish.

The Sunday after his passing, I saw a double rainbow, for the first time. The colors were thick and vivid pastel. I never knew that doubles even existed. I just took that as a sign that God was trying real hard to console me about Prince. His talent and connection were definitely a gift to us.

you're right about alot of the old posters, i'm not seeing too much of that right now though. I got booted off here for defending Prince. I'd be happy if he were here and happy even if it meant he'd never record again. I miss the man, the humor, the attitude, the drive, the kookiness, all of it.

him dying alone will always be one of the saddest things for me about this. but if people believe that God sent the rainbow to assure people that he arrived and was ok, i don't think you explaining the meteorology of rainbows will change their minds. we all know that nearly everything that happens has an obvious chemical or physical mechanism beyind it. but that reality does not have to exclude a god driven reason for that event at that time. they do not have to be mutually exclusive. unless one is a committed atheist, then all things are possible in terms of God.
"If u love somebody, your life won't be in vain
And there's always a rainbow, at the end of every rain."--peace and love, dear prince.....
