Charlie was singing on Rick James song, "The Good Ole Days".

Rick names most of his friends in "The Funk Era"..No mention of Prince at all..(He mentions Georgie Clinton and P Funk)

Roger and Zapp are not mentioned either... Roger liked Prince at a time (Shout-out in a song).

Roger gave Rick a shout out in It Doesn't Really Matter

" Stevie Wonder...Rick James...Charlie Wilson and the Gap Band "

Itchin for your twitchin on New Zapp IV U is very Prince esque, he also says you're making me Delirious too like as a nod to P. But Roger seemed cool with everyone, such a tragedy that befell him in the end when his bro shot him and then himself. One of his sons Roger Troutman II who also performed under the name Lynch passed quite a few years back too.

Neckbone is five miles south of Bumfuck.

Neckbone ain't a real place, but Alligator, Bobo, Hot Coffee, Cold Water, Soso, and It are all towns in Mississippi. My first high school girlfriend was from Bobo. However, a boy from Alligator wanted to fight me for her, and wasn't no way in hell I was going to fight a dude from Alligator over no dame.

Hey! neutral

You just made me spit coffee all over my screen.

I like Charlie Wilson but he needs to seat ALL the way down and he sounds very full of himself here. The autospy results have not came in yet and there has not been a cause of death so why is he assuming its drug related? Why is he implying Prince was a drug addict? eek He really needs to cut the crap with insisting he has no dirty laundry. CHARLIE Wilson was a drug addict for over 20 something years and was living on the street. He talks like he is born again "angel" that has some authority to dictate the fate of others. I am glad he is doing better but he is far from perfect and his past struggles have nothing to do with how Prince died.

The first time I saw Prince, Zapp and Roger opened the show on the Controversy Tour (youngsters dont know about that).

The sad reality is that sometimes the best ex-addicts lose some of their minds before recovery. I have seen it many times. THe results are mixed depending on what kind of pople they were prior to the sickness. Charlie was probably an asshole before becoming a full time crackhead and hitting bottom. Now he is a burned out old head who is still jealous of Prince.

Another sad reality is that those "in the business" are privvy to much more than fans and those NOT in the business. I have no idea if he knows what he's talking about but I do know enough (or is it not enough?) to know that I have to keep an open mind to be prepared for whatever may come of the investigation into Prince's death. That is the reality for a realist.

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod
